If you are a parent or a grandparent who watches your grandbaby, the Motorola Video Baby Monitor is one of the most important pieces of equipment you will ever own. This baby monitor has many features and is what I found to be the best on the market.
Easy to use
This baby monitor is very simple and easy to use. It has a very big screen with a good image and audio. The picture is great for both day and night vision and a really cool feature is that if you purchase a second camera, you can have a split screen which will not affect the audio!
Long battery life
The monitor battery will last all day with the vision on. The monitor will work no matter where you go in the house as it has a very long range – up to 1000 feet. The battery life can be up to 9 1/2 hours.
Room temperature monitoring
This baby monitor even keeps tabs on your baby’s room temperature. You can easily see whether you need to adjust your thermostat or air condition unit for a perfect temperature.
Two-way communication
A really nice feature is two-way communication. If you are in the baby’s room and you’re needing something from another room, you can call to someone else in the house for what you need. It works like a walkie-talkie!
Tilt camera
The portable camera tilts up and down and left to right so you can adjust your view. This also can be done by remote. There is a zoom feature on this monitor too. You can expand this monitor with a total of 4 cameras which you purchase separately if needed.
Lullabies
This baby monitor will play music for your little one and it has the “heartbeat” sound that so many parents use for their newborns. It is soothing to the baby and helps them go to sleep.

The pros outweigh the cons!
The only negative thoughts I could give this monitor is:
- It does not come with a mount, but I do not think you would want to mount this on a wall anyway.
- The temperature reading may not always be accurate.
All in all
After much research on baby monitors, I found this one to be the best bang for your buck! Also, I am a fan of Motorola as they are known for quality products. I have purchased many Motorola products in my lifetime and have always been satisfied.
