A baby jogger you can count on!
Choosing the right stroller for you and your baby depends on the kind of lifestyle you live. Just like when you have to make any decision for a big purchase, you should consider these 4 factors:
- What will I use if for?
- Where will I use it?
- When will I use it?
- Why do I want or need this?
Once you’ve made your decision for a baby jogger, the next question should be which one? There are a lot of models out there, but there are lots of complaints about the front wheel coming off unexpectedly on certain models. Whoa, that’s a scary thought!
If you are a daily runner and enjoy bringing your little one along, this is the baby jogger/stroller for you! There will be no bad surprises or safety issues as this is specifically made in mind for the parent who wants to maintain fitness while jogging with your baby.
You get what you pay for
There is an old adage that says “you get what you pay for” and for much of my life, I have realized this to be the truth. So, let me get right into this review to show you how this jogger will make your life easier for that daily run and show you the high quality it affords.
Some specs from the manufacturer
- 3 Wheel Stroller: 16″ rear and 12″ front air-filled tires with front-wheel lock mounted on the handlebar for easy conversions between jogger and stroller mode
- All-wheel suspension system soaks up road bumps making it the perfect all-terrain stroller
- Hand-operated rear brakes for more control on hilly or uneven terrain
- Large adjustable sun canopy with peek a boo windows and side vents
Weight recommendations for child
The minimum weight is 5 pounds
The maximum weight is 75 pounds
Perfect for running with the baby
This jogger/stroller is perfect for your daily runs with the baby. It has an all-wheel suspension and glides easily over any terrain. There is also a remote wheel lock on the handlebar which allows you to shift from jogging to strolling. When you are running and find that you have to stop in a hurry, there are hand-operated brakes for you to use to stop your baby jogger.
There is a canopy on this jogger for protection from the sun or rain. You will find an adjustable five-point safety harness with shoulder pads on this baby jogger as well.
How easy is this to get in your trunk?
A really great feature is that this stroller has a one-step pull-to-fold design. You simply pull the strap with one hand and the jogger folds itself. It really doesn’t get any easier than this. The next step, place it into your trunk.
One drawback
The only drawback to this baby jogger/stroller that I found was that its tires are inflatable – just like a bicycle. This means you have to watch out for deflated tires. My suggestion is to keep an air pump handy and check the tires before you go on a run.
My conclusion
Purchase your baby jogger/stroller here!
I really think you will be more than pleased with the jogger/stroller as well as with the performance for a smooth run!! Your baby will enjoy this as much as you, no doubt!

Hmm this would be something great to get for my friend now that I will be attending her baby shower and we are childhood friends and I want her kid to have as much as he can. I want to be that fun uncle haha. Though this is more for my friend as the mother. I’m sure she will appreciate this gift a lot. Thank you so much for this
Hello Misael,
Yes, this would be a great gift for your friend! I know she will love it and you can be confident it is a jogger/stroller she is going to absolutely love! I know you definitely will be that fun uncle and enjoy!!!
Having the front wheel of your baby jogger come off is really a scary thought! Just imagine …
This Baby Jogger Summit X3 looks sturdy enough and the suspension in the wheel is important. A great suspension prevents the baby from feeling any bumps on the road if the stroller hits any of them. I like that it has handcontrolled rear breaks. The sun canopy looks large, so I’m pretty sure that it keeps the sun out of the baby’s face.
When buying a stroller, I think it is indeed essential to get good quality, this is after all for your baby, no expense is too high. I would feel confident getting this stroller.
Yes Christine, I agree. I have checked out a lot of the joggers on the market and this one really came out on top for safety and quality!!

A baby stroller/carriage/walker/jogger will be one of the most important investments you will make after having a baby. Yes, investment because, as you point out, you get what you pay for. This looks like a great choice and I have always preferred a jogger, even though I don’t jog. This is because it will go over any surface without getting bogged down. I like the easy-fold application of this as well. It makes life a lot easier!
Thank you Cynthia. I like the jogger as well and I remember after I had my babies, I wanted to get back in shape and I did the best I could with a regular stroller. Back then however, they didn’t have this type of stroller and I would’ve loved to have one! I would “fast walk” every evening with my baby in the stroller as part of my exercise routine, however it was a bit of a challenge.
